This portfolio will give you better paying assignments in the future. Aside from photography, a freelance photographer can also add digital retouching, special effects and still portraits as part of his list of services. Lastly, look for a mentor. A freelance photographer can’t know everything on his own. Get the advice of an expert or at least experienced in the freelancing field. The valuable experience gained by this veteran can help the budding photographer on his photography skills. It gives the newbie insight on what to avoid and what to do for the perfect shot.
